Meacham ride sunday oct 24th

There is a few of us hopefully getting together to ride some trails around the meacham area ( halfway between La Grande and Pendleton OR) not sure all the details yet but will try and keep updated! feel free to join, let me know if interested!

not much for single track, mostly quad trail and dirt/gravel road. some good hill climbs and a little technical but pretty easy and laid back, good speed to cruise and see lots of country! maybe some single track if i can talk my dad into trying to find some routes!! will try, but no promises

this sounds like a good chance to get the last mtn ride of the season in. halfway in.

We are planning on meeting around 8 at the wildhorse truck stop (exit 216 just past Pendleton) time could possibly change, we are still working out exactly what routes we want to go which may change the meeting time a small bit, but not much. this is a dual sport so make sure you are street legal because it wont be strictly trails, there will be gravel and possibly pavement that you need to be legal for.

hey do you think i could ride my ktm 950 se on the trails were going on ,or do i need to bring the 530 ? or maybe the tw 200 ! what do you think HODOKAGUY ? this sounds like the tw ride we have been talking about.

Good question about what bike to take. If it's lots of gravel roads and 2 track I would take the 640. If it's lots of trails maybe the EC300. Or then again if craig and hodakaguy are taking the little bikes I could take the DR200 which would be cool too...
It's so stressfull trying to figure out what kind of fun to have!

i am taking my DRZ 400. there shouldnt be much need for anything smaller a 640 should do fine. i cant pick your fun machine for you! thats half the adventure of the ride

I would also probably reccomend the 530 over the 900, but thats just me because I am guessing that will be more the caliber of everyone elses bikes on this particular ride. I know we have the 400s and yamwow has i think a 530 (maybe 425 i forgot) etc. still up to you though. I do have to ask if i am not seeing posts because I didnt see anything posted from hodaka guy about him coming but I saw two ppl asking him wat bike he was taking???

2 out of 3 bikes ready to go now.... Need to find the hunter orange vest.

Not going to make this one...would have been a great TW ride though!

so, so far on the IN list i have Yamwow, Craig, Relaytech, and Dhally, oh and mrmagoolin everything still lookin good for you guys? its supposed to rain...but that shouldnt matter lol itll be good! just like morrow!! right yamwow and relaytech? hahaha

Rain - no problemo. Snow accumulation - marginal.

Please post who is in for the ride so we have a head count. Post on the adv site please.

Anxious to hear about your ride. How about a report and some photos. I would like to ride that area sometime but was unable to make this one.
