2010 KTM 530 EXC

Ok I have not had time to take hardly any pics or ride lately due to overtime at work. I will add more info later as I have time.

Emmisions removed
Exhaust opened up

JD jet kit installed (tried blue needle 3rd groove but have a surging problem at 1/4 throttle switched to Red 5th groove and have not tried it out yet) Edit 5/29/11 I am now at Red needle in the 4th groove and this is as good as it is going to get I belive. I still have a very small bog/surge at just off idle. I notice it going down slight grades with a little throttle or chugging along tight trails and am just off idle to less than 1/4 throttle. Yes I have read every thread on thumper talk and ADV about this issue and know I could probably fix it with more work but have not gotten around to it.

14 tooth front and 52 tooth rear (edit 5/29/11 have moved to 13 tooth front as the 14 is still to tall a gear for me in the woods, only issue is had to tweak chain guide to work)
Bullit Proof radiator guards and swing arm guard.
KTM rear disc guard.
Guts soft seat
Double take mirrors 3" extensions.
Hillbly hose clamped MSR fuel bottle (the reserve until I get the Clockworks tank)
Handle bar risers Enduro Eng (added at Xmass 12/25/10 and made a big diffrence for me as I am 5ft 11in on a bad day a 6ft on a good one, back issues)
Hyd clutch guard (added 4/7/11)

Thanks for the link. That is a good price. Unfortunately my financial advisor has cut off my spending unitl I sell some of my stuff as I am just a wee bit over buget on my bike

Good lookin bike. Those bikes flat out fly. I think it has a little more top end than my brother's '08 Husaberg 550, which has a frightening low- mid range power.

Do you ride Walker Valley with it? Often? Sure, I'd be better off at Walker on a 200-300 but I still like to go on the FS roads with my bud's riding 650's, so the 450cc range works well for me.

How'd that MSR fuel bottle work for ya? My '05 has a larger tank, but I haven't soursed a new tank for the '10 yet. Hmm.

Belive it or not I have not been to Walker with it yet. Funny almost the closest place to ride and I have not been there. Not to bore you or anyone else but 95% of my riding is loading up our bikes and trailer and going out camping with friends or family. The wife hangs out in the trailer most of the time knitting/spinning yarn or reading and I am out with the guys on logging roads or single track depending were we are at. In the winter we Like Howard Miller park in Rockport as a jumping off spot (Power and water) and in the summer we take alot of trips to Beckler River in Skykomish dry camping. Both are about an hour away for us.

Have made a few small changes to the bike. I have moved to a 13 tooth front sprocket and added a clutch saver. The MSR bottle has maybe turned into a permanent attachment as I can take it off and on quickly and It gives me just the right amount of extra fuel I need for extended trips. I may not get the clockworks tank at this point.

I have the same bike as you - I really like it. Easy throttle control at lower RPMs, just a bulldog down low.
