2011 rides i will be doing next year

so just to get some ideas out for u all i will be riding a list of rides this next coming year in 2011.

first will be the dessert 100
nma member poker rides,
because i found out that if u do all them u have a better chance at winnign a brand new motorcycle at the end of the year.

weekend in the naches area for trail riding. this last summer was fun there.

and a chunk of the washing backcountry prolly from ellensburg to orville.

Sounds like some good rides. I am interested in going on the dessert 100 ride and the Washington Backcountry ride with you this summer. Looking forward to it. Is the dessert 100 ride a one or two day ride? How long do you plan on taking to do the backcountry ride? Keep me posted.

ffrom what i here the desrt 100 is a weekend deal poler run saturday and the race is sunday. i mainly just want to do the poker run and watch the race. however i might watch the race from behind while riding. as far as the backcountry route i have no idea how long it will take i have not really thought through past of just saying i am going to do that ride. still need to work out logistics part from being dropped off near naches area and being picked up in orville or most likely be picked up in tonasket. my grandpa lives there on specticle lake. anyhow if anyone wants to chime in on the back country route let me know the more riders the funner it will be.

I have mapped out a section of the trip on a detailed map. I figure that I would ride from Richland WA to Carson (day 1)......then ride the route North to Packwood (day 2)....the next morning ride to Ellensburg (day 3)......finally I will ride back to Richland (day 4). Because I will do the trip on a TW200......I currently plan to spend the night in Carson, Packwood, and Ellensburg.....no sense rushing such a scenic trip. Also, since I will be doing this trip on a smaller motorcycle, I will be staying off the Interstate Hwy.

depending on if all goes well or if i just decide to save my money i might be still riding my honda 230L for this backcountry route. so are you not interested in heading from ellensburg north? or packwood north all the way to orville? let me know because i want do the upper part north.

from ellensburg north, i could probably hook up for a day or so. dont know if i could swing the whole rout at one time. but that part is my neck of the woods. could meet up in ellensburg ?

No problem going from Ellensburg North......I can always do the Southern part of the trip another time. About the date.....August is a bad time.....so is the April 1st thru April 15th.

snow is still up there in june so i herd its mid july to beginning of september. is our window.
any how we will get this planned out for sure.

The best time for me would be in the beginning of September.
