will a roll chart really be needed or do they mark the trail well?

I'm hoping to go this year. Do they accept day of event entries or pre-reg only? I know I missed the cut-off for a t-shirt. Big deal, not why I want to go. :) I'm still unsure if I'll camp out or leave home real early to get there. I'll find out what my current fuel range is this weekend, hopefully that won't be a problem!

You could probably do it with out a roll chart. The roads are marked as long as people dont run over them and scrub them off. There are also a lot of people to follow.

I know that Wenatchee Power sports and The Honda shop, ( now dog house power sports ? ) sells them. They are around $20.00.

I have never used one. You should be able to follow all the other people. You may have to stop every once in a while to check it though.

got any tips on riding with your son for 130 miles? Shane said a guy mounted a small saddle for his daughter. We've only rode 30 miles on dirt so far this year. More saddle time, I guess. We are riding over the night before with our camping gear. It's gonna be great.

I had a Corbin double seat that I would swap out on my XR650L for doubling up with my wife. It does move you forward more and I only used it for 50 miles or less rides with lots of stops. It is a big help for the backseat rider.

saw that guy with his girl up front in mattawa . told him i saw a guy with a pony saddle hooked to the gas tank at dirtyface last year and he laughned and said"yea that was me". lol i have my son that weekend so ill bring the KLR just in case he wants to ride with his oldman. being 8 yo, sometimes he wants to ride, sometimes he would rather be back in the camper playing xbox. lol he is a tall one for 8 and has no problem being a passenger on the KLR.

Funny. We are coming over the night before, even though it's just a quick trip over the hill for us. We will have a red and white tent next to the Honda XR650L. Hope to see ya there. My son will be happy to hear another boy his age (9) will be there.

I am going to say no. Its all on private and forest sevice roads. No BLM, DNR land. And we will not be in any state parks.

This s just my best guess.
