Hi folks. I really enjoy all the adventure reports here so I wanted to contribute. My photos are from a phone so the quality is poor but good enough to see the trails. On Sunday a few friends and myself went on a Finley ride to hit some fantastic secret single track trails. Their not really secret but they are hard to find and not many folks know about them or ride them, that's for sure. The dust was bad in some spots but there was a nice breeze to blow it away. The weather was perfect. We started out from my house with a warm up on some tight wooded stuff.
Then about a mile of pavement and back on the trail, this spot must be spring fed. It never dry's out. One of our guys lost a mirror to a tree next to the trail here and we could not seem to find it anywhere.
After a bit more pavement we arrive at the park and run some more trail towards the lagoon.
Riding back towards the entrance, we tried to run this trail but it has grown over almost to much to ride. Hard to believe 40 bikes rode this trail 3 weeks ago and there almost no trace of the trail now.
We then went from hi speed desert trail to tight wooded stuff again.
Now to bounce off of some nice sage brush for a bit, then a look at the runoff stream in the park.
The trail runs right through this part.
More trees and up to the top. Then back to the open desert for some technical trail this time. The water in the last picture is the end of the irrigation canal and is what feeds the stream in the park pictured above.
Everybody had a great time. Can't wait to go again. Single track rules!

Sweet! How many miles you think you put in? Those are some primo tracks. Don't see how you were able to stop and take pictures . That's my problem when riding with other people, we don't stop till we stop so don't get any pictures of the nice trails.
*i get to ride next weekend

Hi Inspector, My GPS showed 40 miles. We usually try for more, but some guys had other stuff to do. I had most of the trail pictures in stock from rides I go on by myself. Those trails are very near my house, in fact the first three pictures are in my backyard So I ride out there ALOT. I know what you mean about pictures during the ride. I have just started taking more when we ride but never as many as I should.

What time are you thinking? I should be able to get away for while tomorrow without getting in too much trouble with the family Depending on how fast you like to ride it will only take about an hour or so to show you all our trails. There were more trails, but some are very overgrown and or plugged with tumbleweeds.
