Sweet! Definitely on my short list. Have to confirm the dates, but if no conflicts with anything else, I will likely go.

I'm not sure what my schedule will be yet, but I'm thinking this might be a great organized first timer's rally for me. Close to home too...
Definitely on the short list to get summer started!

Won't bore you with the details, but I won't be able to attend Selkirks

Done deal! Just got my spot reserved from someone named Martha at Blackdog. Now to tell the wife
Via email she said they are traveling for the next 4 weeks, so don't freak if you try to contact them. I had to contact them because their online payment system only takes credit cards, no PayPal...

I sent my money - I figured this group has a great reputation and it sounds like my kind of riding. I might have to test ride a Katoom while I'm there

I think $100 for an organized ride/get together with two breakfasts and two dinners is a pretty good deal It would be nice to stay in that cabin with showers and a real bed but another $100 to sleep in a bunk house situation is a little too cozy, if you know what I mean...
I cant make it all out but what the farg are you ridding all pavement from Trout Creek to Sandpoint there is some fun to be had between the Vermilion and Sandpoint. I better go with you I can already see you are going to screw things up. Heck it don't even look like you left your self half a chance to get lost.

I'm not the one who started that ya know. Sometimes you just end up with things. I'm not promising nothing yet but this looks fun. I have (have is somewhat subjective) to use 3 weeks of my vacationing on ADVing all ready without the wife and she is starting to fell somewhat left-out (like she don't bitch at me enough already)as its all starting to get blurry.

The link is up at the top of the thread. I don't think they send out the detail sheets until a few weeks before the event. I'm sure Kurt or Martha at Blackdog would answer any and all questions if you were to call them.

Someone needs to find me a facebook "like" thingy for that or something to put on my wifes wall. Maybe she wants to go camping that weekend?? Or maybe she want's to go back to that water park(can't remember the name) the same week.
EDIT* cool, it worked. Just copied the link and it did the rest.

June (i.e. Spring can be a little chilly for the water park side of the park, but you can kill a whole day on the rides side too)
Avoid the campground across the street (Noisy, on the highway, crowded)
But three miles away Farragut State Park is totally awesome! A couple thousand acres, an old Navy Base (full of history), awesome campsites (asphalt with modern pay showers/porcelain toilets) or your choice of anything from dry camping, tents and dirt OHV etc. The lake is also awesome and only a few minutes from the Black Dog event (sort of) and Silverwood.
