naches, wa.

I spent the last week in the Naches area near Chinook pass. I must admit that I was primarily there to fourwheel the Samurai, but I would literally drive back into camp and hop on the KLR for a ride. It was very muddy and soupy so I didn't venture on many trails (like 941) but there were a lot of die hard riders that did. The snow level was between 5000 and 5500 feet. There was 10 feet of snow at Ravens Roost 6200 feet up. I'll be back up there at the end of the month!

Can't wait to get up there!

I'm headed up there thursday for a few days. Time to see some trees.

First time posting pics. Hope it works. It didn't when I tried using my Droid and Ipod.
The first pic is looking down at the top of the barbwire fence around the radio tower at Ravens Roost. I was standing on top of the snow. The nxt pics are of trail 676, with some bikers on it.

That place is 4x4 heaven. I think in a month or so some guys from work and myself are going down there for a weekend with our bikes. Should be a good time.
