| Not my favorite mirror in the looks department but I may have to order one of those babies myself. Looks like it would take a hit better than the KTM folding mirror that I'm currently using (although it works great!).
Thanks for the heads up!

| I just use my handy dandy adjustapeen tool to remove my rigid mirror stalks before entering a trail zone. | |

oops my bad, nope I ordered a Double Take Mirror with the ram mount. So far I really like it, easy to see out of and is built rock solid. I'll have to get a picture of it on the bike. I went with the shorter ram arm and I'm running mine angled lower than backwoods Boogies. Nice setup Hodakaguy

| I have the Dual Star mirrors and love them. I can actually see stuff with them, although you look under your arms rather than over. You do not need to fold them down because they are protected where they sit. They are also made in WA! | |

Went to their site and could not find a link for price or order.
Anyone else having this trouble? or is just me. You need to start with the hand guards then from there you build what you want into them...like the mirrors. *i clicked on the ktm bars...you can go back one and pick whatever bike you want.

I went with the 3 inch extensions as alot of people say thet seem to tighten down a little better. We shall see......

Believe it or not, I actually broke one, although I dont know how, as nothing hit it. I was at the parking lot, it was all good, an easy ride to a staging area (open ride, nothing at all), and now its broke... bummer.

| I've been thinking about the Double Take. A bonus would be that I could easily swap them back and forth between my 600 and my 950.
I'm leaning toward the short arms, both Hodakaguy, and Wachs have these, and seem happy with them.
But, I would like to hear what Boogie thinks of the long ones.

I went with the 3 inch extensions as alot of people say thet seem to tighten down a little better. We shall see...... Update. I have used these for a summer now and am still happy with them. What I like. They do fold out of the way quickly, With the 3 inch extensions I can actually see behind me and not have to move my arm, they take hits from branches without any problems, and lastly any little get off just bends them out of the way with out any damage (not that there is any video of that happening to me posted on the forum ) My dislikes. I like to ride with my mirrors out on the trail to take a quick glance behine me but most rougher trails the mirrors vibrate down over time say every 15 to 20 mins I will have to adjust (on logging roads the mirrors do fine) I could really tighten the knob down but I think that defeats the purpose of having them be able to move when hit, They tend to get dirty much faster than other mirrors I have had in the past. Its almost like they attract dust. I also worry when I have to leave the bike outside unattended when say I go into a store that some punk kids will unscrew the knob and walk away with them (you would not belive how may times I have come back to my bike to find a group of kids standing around it, most of the time they have questions, how fast does it go, do you jump it, how much was it ect... and of course I may fudge a little and say 150 mph, must have caught 30 ft of air on that last jump, I am sure if you save your lunch money you can buy one in say hmmmmmm 50 years ) I think one of the reasons the bike atttacts kids is that RED MSR fuel bottle I have on the rear fender. Most of the questions are is that Nitrious and wow that must really go fast when you hit the juice. Its just to funny not to play along some times. To recap good product and I will be buying another set for my wifes bike do to the fact that I have to take her mirrors off to fit in my truck with the lumbar rack installed.
