PNWDS Naches Camp and Ride.... August 20-22nd.

Not sure what you mean by "the actual Naches trail", but you can ride the many jeep trails if you want, but there is also tons of single track and forest roads. Something for everybody I think.

I'm not white trash so I have the expensive paper plates to mark our camp spot! The weather report says mid 70's.

Uhm....my bike isn't ready yet. I was in the San Juans this weekend, (technically less then 24hours). Now it's just too damn hot!!

The WR250R just needs a oil and air filter change once in a while. I f your washing your boots in the kitchen bring the bike in.

What time are you planning to pass through Kirkland on I-405? I was hoping around 0900 or earlier?

I don't think so. You can bring the tires and do them here over a few beers. You were bringing a keg of Mac & Jacks African Amber, kegerator and generator right?

So, is there a physical address we can put in to find this campground? I read your description of where it is, but have not been able to accurately pinpoint the location. Although I just arrived home from Sturgis, I am still planning on making this ride. Hopefully I can get everything accomplished this week before heading out.

No I don't think so. Can you put the GPS coordinates in? The Whistlin Jack lodge is about 4 miles before the turn off if your coming from the east. 20800 State Route 410, Naches, WA 98937-9170 BTW anyone coming with you?

If you put this in on Google Earth it will give you directions.

Six miles from the campground there is a mini mart at Whistlin Jack Lodge. Gas was $3.49 a gallon a couple weeks ago. http://www.whistlinjacklodge.com/

Yamwow and I are going Thursday. I heard that no campfires or charcoal bbq's are allowed! Bummer!

Not going to make this one , to much to do around the house with the Alvord trip coming up.

My brother and I think are heading up friday around 11:00 am after his dr. apt and we'll stay till sat evening. too much going on sun.

Didn't think it needed to be said since it is Aug., but....If it is raining or wet out....I'm out. So if anyone hears something or knows something, let me know also.

*it's bad enough tenting it in the rain, but come back all muddy and no way to clean up...I gotta pass on that.

it is not going to rain. want to convoy over together friday morning inspector in case one of us has problems? i am coming from the north so could meet u in ur area.
