PNWDS Naches Camp and Ride.... August 20-22nd.

What do you guy's think about a camping/rides in the Naches area? Thinking later summer time frame. Naches has all kinds of terrain. Maybe we could have single track and forest road rides. Something for all types of bikes. Reply back and let us know what you think.

i have every other weekend off. Schedule it on one off those weekends and i'm in!

I'd go, that area is fun.

I too would be interested. I rode that area a lot 30 years ago. I am not into serious single tracking now days, however.

i am down for that, i live on the west side so let me know a few weeks ahead of time so i can get my gear that i will need... maybe u guys could help me out with a list of stuff i need to have on my bike ? or u thinking about camping out at the trucks and ride during the day?

Yamwow, you know I'm in! To answer the previous post, I can't speak for Yamwow, but I am sure we would be camping at a campground there, and riding out from camp each day. So you would not need any special gear. Just your normal camping stuff.

lurking, this does sound fun. i am with ken, single track still scares me since my spill in march ! but there will always be beverages in camp right ?

Yeah, pretty much needs to be truck camping for me. Otherwise I'll be out. Can't afford all that fancy equipment and all.

It would be a base camp with trailers, campers, or whatever you have. We won't be camping off the bikes. Like I said Naches has all kinds riding areas. I was thinking a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We could have someone take lead of a rougher ride and someone lead a more laid back ride so the bigger bikes can attend. Maybe do a big get together for the PNWDS Forum members once a year. Suggestions?

sounds good to me how far from everett would base camp be? just so i can get an idea of how long of a drive it will be for me

I've ridden at Naches a bit - if you stay on the trails, you have to work hard to get 80 miles in a day. On the other hand, it's a long-ass way to a gas station.

Does anyone want to lead a forest road ride that knows the area well?

I'm off that weekend. I think I'm actually off for the whole week until after labor day. I take a week or two for memorial day and another week or two for labor day every year. Good times for camping/wheeling/riding.
